and fly as often as I can. I post on the Forums as JAGNZ and my friends like to hassle me for how many posts I make. =)

I am certainly no expert but I have a fair bit of experience that may be useful to you and I am happy to help as my time permits. I can either help you directly (in Auckland) or point you to someone in your area who can. For basic Helicopter setup, you are best to get help from your local flying club and local pilots. Forums such as RunRyder can help you work out the latest and greatest gear for 3D Helicopters.

When starting out in 3D, I recommend a 3D oriented Pod and Boom Helicopter in the 50 size Nitro or 500 size Electric Classes that has eCCPM. These sizes provide the best bang for the buck in my experience.

In addition to the Trex line, other globally popular current 3D Helicopters are (in no particular order):

Compass Knight 3D/3D+/6HV/Atom
Outrage Velocity 50
RJX Xtreme 50/90
Thunder Tiger Raptor 50/90

Jr Vibe 50/90
Synergy N9/N5
Miniature Aircraft Stratus 90/Fury 55

My current fleet consists of:

1x Trex 700 Nitro
1x Compass 3D+
1x Compass Atom 500E
1x Compass Knight 3D (K3D)

I use a JR DSX9 2.4Ghz Transmitter.
